COGIC Department of Health Brings Facilitators from Across the Country to Inaugural Conference

	In keeping with the theme of community health, a healthful lunch was prepared and served by Chef David Owens.
	For lunch, Chef David Owens prepared recipes from the Community Health Initiative’s Cookbook for Healthy Living DVD.
	Brian McCrary of Novartis gave a presentation at lunchtime that outlined the company’s role in the Community Health Initiative.
	Cindy Walker, Associate Director of Regional Account Projects for Novartis, introduced the company’s “BP Success Zone” plan for reducing blood pressure.
	Richard Smith, Associate Director of Regional Account Projects for Novartis, explained to the group how members of the Community Health Initiative can benefit from the Novartis “BP Success Zone.”
