COGIC CHARITIES - $50,000
COGIC Charities is the benevolent arm within the Church Of God In Christ Inc. that specifically provides assistance for areas devastated by natural disasters and provides educational scholarships for high school students entering college. The COGIC Department of Health and DrugPlace was proud to donate $50,000 to this organization in 2006.

CATHEDRAL OF PRAISE LIFE CENTER - $40,000
As part of The COGIC Department of Health’s commitment to help its members live a healthier life, we joined with DrugPlace to donate $40,000 to help build the Cathedral of Praise Life Center.

CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST WOMEN’S DEPARTMENT - $5000
While speaking at the 57th Women’s International Convention, Readus Smith, the Director of Health, presented $5,000 to Mother Willie Mae Rivers, general supervisor, and the COGIC Department of Women scholarship fund.

AUXILIARIES IN MINISTRY CONVENTION - $5,000
Auxiliaries in Ministry (AIM) Convention is an annual convention held by the Church Of God In Christ, Inc. The AIM Convention highlights the work of the different ministry departments of the denomination. The COGIC Department of Health and DrugPlace was proud to present a check of $5,000 at this convention.

COGIC WOMEN’S CONVENTION, CHICAGO - $4,500
The COGIC Department of Health and DrugPlace donated $4,500 to the annual women’s convention in Chicago, Ill.

COMMUNITY MINISTRIES OF FLORIDA - $1,000
The Community Ministries of Florida shares a common goal with The COGIC Department of Health: to help build a healthier community. The Department of Health and DrugPlace are proud to be a $1,000 sponsor.
